Sports associations honoured District Amateur Athletic Association secretary D. Nageswara Rao, who was elected president of the AP Athletic Association, at a function here.
Mr. Nageswara Rao having been elected president of the State body after the State was divided would be helpful to athletics in the State as he is a former national athlete and has more than three decades of experience as administrator, the speakers said.
