Arrangements in place

Arrangements for conducting the convocation have been completed. The police have made the required bandobust for the Governor's visit to the campus and also at the Circuit House where he would stay and the Simhachalam temple where he would attend with his wife the annual Chandanostavam of the lord Varahalakshmi Nrusimhaswamy in the early hours of Sunday.

The university is on summer vacation and students would not be present. Since no film personality is being given an honorary degree or title during the convocation, the function is expected to be held without much problem.

Dr. Saraswat would meet alumni of AU at a meeting to be organised on Sunday morning.
