Andhra Bank was at present concentrating on increasing its network in northern India and as part of this, as many as 80 branches out of 104 were opened there this year, Assistant General Manager of the bank K. Rama Krishnam Raju said here on Thursday.
Talking to media persons, he said there were plans to open more branches in future which would provide better services to the customers through core bank solutions.
He also announced launching of a special campaign ‘Retail Blitz II’ from November 2 in Visakhapatnam Zone to focus more on retail credit in the present quarter. Lending in housing loans, takeover of housing loans from other banks, vehicle loans, non-agriculture loans, clean loans and all other loans in retail sector would be increased, he disclosed. Chief Managers K.V. Subbaiah and D.V.S. Chella Rao were present.
