Andhra Bank introduces cash deposit machine

Taking its service commitment to its customers to a different level, Andhra Bank has set up a 24x7 cash deposit facility at its Seetammadhara Branch by introducing a cash deposit machine.

The first such machine in any branch of Andhra Bank in the Visakhapatnam Zone was inaugurated by industrialist and customer M. Venkata Rao on Tuesday. The facility would be available 24x7 for all the customers of Andhra Bank and works on debit card base, Andhra Bank Zonal Manager B Bhaskara Sarma explained. The customers can insert their debit card and deposit cash in denominations of Rs 50 to Rs 1,000. The machine accepts up to 200 notes at a time, Mr Sarma said.

The bank would be installing such machines at a few more locations in the city, he added. Bank AGMs N V Rajendra Prasad, P.C. Sahu and D.K. Rath, senior managers V, Venkat Rao, J Simhachalam and P. Srinivasa Rao and union leaders I. Kesava Rao and R.V/ Ravi Kumar participated.
