Elegant and royal designs from the grand palaces of India are displayed at an exhibition by Art Karat at The Gateway Hotel.

The theme being ‘The Maharaja Collection', the designer jewellery is set in silver base with beautiful kundan craftsmanship on a sheet of gold.

“The collection is a fusion of jewels inspired from the jewellery designs found in the palaces of India like the kingdoms of Rajasthan, the Mughals and the Nizams. These designs that have been adorned by the royal families have always been the dream of the common man. We have made the jewellery on a silver base with a sheet of gold to make it more cost effective at the same time retaining the timeless beauty of the collection,” Business Development Manager of Art Karat, Vikas Gupta said.

There are around 450 designer pieces on display with 120 designs from the catalogue. The prices of the collection range from Rs.2,000 to Rs. 1.18 lakhs. The collection includes a beautiful range of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bajubandhs, tikas, rings and pins. “Every piece is handcrafted with utmost care and expertise and can be customised to suit the requirement of the customer,” Mr. Gupta said. The jewellery comes with a lifetime maintenance warranty and can be exchanged within one year on 25 per cent paid value deduction. The exhibition is on till April 17 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
