Several advocates from different parts of the district took out a motorbike rally in Srikakulam demanding establishment of a High Court Bench in Visakhapatnam immediately.

The rally which began at Srikakulam Bar Association covered important junctions such as Day & Night, Seven Roads and Ramalakshmana Junctions.

The Association president Paidi Venugopalam and General Secretary Mamidi Kranti who organised the rally vowed to build strong public opinion in favour of the High Court bench. “The government seems to be waiting for Srikrishna Committee report.

The issue of High Court bench should not be linked to the Committee's report since we have been fighting over the issue for the last few years.” said Mr.Venugopalam and Kranti. The advocates will chalk out their action plan to intensify the agitation.
