The relay hunger strike by advocates of Visakhapatnam with the demand to keep Andhra Pradesh unified reached 150th day on Friday. More than a dozen advocates participate in the relay hunger strike on Friday.

The advocates took out a rally from the Collectorate to the Gandhi statue opposite GVMC main office. To express the anger of people against the Central government for going ahead with bifurcation of the State without honouring the sentiments of the Seemandhra people, the advocates displayed a unique form of protest.

Some of them donned the masks of leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Digvijay Singh, Jairam Ramesh, Rahul Gandhi, Chiranjeevi, KCR and also of Chandrababu Naidu, while other advocates ‘beat’ them up with brooms.
