Justice Dilip B. Bhosale, acting Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in Hyderabad, expressed happiness over construction of the new campus of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), which is coming up at Sabbavaram near here.

Talking to The Hindu after inspecting the construction activity, he said, “The campus is coming up well and once completed it would be one of the best campuses among the law schools in the country.” He was especially pleased with the floor space allotted for the moot court and the library. The moot court is being set up on a floor space of about 3,500 sft and the library is coming up on a space of 7,500 sft.

“No law school in the country has such a big moot court. If furnished well and made to look like a real court, this moot court can be the ideal venue for international moot court competition,” he said.

However, he urged the management to speed up the construction as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has assured that release of funds would not be delayed.

The temporary campus, which is being operated from MVP Colony, will be moved this year around September.

The three-storeyed hostel buildings, one each for boys and girls, are almost complete and work is on at the academic block.

Each of the floor of the hostel block has 40 rooms and they are designed to accommodate two students. The academic block has about 11 state-of-the-art classrooms with one seminar hall.
