Government Whip and MLA Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao inaugurating theAadhaar centre in his constituency in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

All the 72 Aadhaar card registration centres, one each for a ward, were opened in the city on Tuesday. MLAs of the city inaugurated the centres in their respective Assembly segments. The centres would start functioning in full measure from Wednesday and only those who were given the slips indicating their date of registration have to approach the centre in their ward, District Supply Officer (city) S. Jwalaprakash said.

The GVMC staff are distributing the application forms and informing the date of registration. The process would go full stream in two or three days since some teething problems like up-linking and the operators getting familiar with the process, were overcome, Mr. Jwalaprakash said.
