Research in the universities is a core activity that is integrated with learning and teaching and knowledge transfer, said GITAM University Vice-Chancellor G. Subrahmanyam.
He was delivering the inaugural address at the international workshop on ‘Quality of research writing and research impact measures’ at GITAM University, here on Monday.
The workshop was jointly hosted by GITAM Institute of Technology and GITAM Knowledge Resource Centre, with support from World Bank under the TEQIP-phase II programme.
Dr. J.K. Vijaykumar from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia and Prof. P. Pichappan from China Zhejiang University of Technology, spoke.
