Two youths died in an accident near Appu Ghar here on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as M. Naveen (26) and V. Raju (28 of Peda Jalaripeta. According to the police, the youth driving a motorbike tried to overtake an RTC bus, and in the process they fell off the bike and were dragged for a few meters before their heads were crushed under the rear wheel of the bus, said inspector Malla Mahesh. Both of them died on the spot.
This is the third accident on the Beach Road stretch from MVP Colony to Ramanaidu studio this year and five youth lost their lives.
