The Central government’s Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram for adolescents should be implemented with focus on key indicators and involving the community, voluntary organisations and the Education Department, Collector Pravin Kumar has said.
He was addressing a meeting on Unicef pilot project. The Unicef representatives, Prusunsen, Seema and Muralikrishna, said a pilot project for adolescents was being implemented in Visakha Urban, Gajuwaka, Chodavaram, S. Rayavaram, Anandapuram, Anantagiri and Dumbriguda mandals. Gowrisankar of District Adolescent Resource Centre and DM&HO J. Sarojini were present.
