Do you plan your study schedule well in advance or do you put everything on hold till the last hour?

Superintendent of Government Hospital for Mental Care S. Radha Rani questioned Class X students of Andhra University High School English Medium who gathered at the yoga hall to take part in a workshop organised by the Child Rights Protection Forum on Thursday.

With Board examinations just a month away, Dr. Radha Rani told students to conquer fear as it is one of the stumbling blocks to achieve desired goals. “It is imperative to develop a positive attitude and chart out a strategic planning for exam,” she said.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who inaugurated the session, urged the students to strengthen their confidence level. He said workshop such as this would help aspirants to prepare for challenges ahead. He encouraged youngsters to figure out smart ways to overcome their setbacks.

Chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited grievance redressal cell D. Dharma Rao stressed on maintaining healthy eating habits and refraining from excessive dependence on social media.

The local urban committee of the forum has been organising workshops in various government and private schools to build confidence among students and motivate them to prepare well for the ensuing Board exams. “In a highly-competitive environment, what is required is to identify the limitations of students and help them address problems,” convener of the forum Gondu Sitaram said. A few more schools have been identified by the forum to conduct similar sessions involving clinical psychologists.
