Cancel orders on land pooling: BJP MLA

BJP MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju on Tuesday met Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Karikal Valaven and apprised him about the ongoing land pooling issue in Visakhapatnam.

“We have asked Mr. Karikal to cancel all the orders passed till date and issue fresh notices to ensure transparency,” the MLA told The Hindu .

According to Mr. Raju, VUDA is trying to pool about 128.94 acres in Sowbhagyapuram under Pendurthi of which 68.94 acres is assigned land and 60 acres in government land.

In Dabbanda in Anandapuram mandal, 114.23 acres is being pooled of which 25.88 acres is private land, 65.35 is assigned and 23 acres is government land.

In Kommadi in Madhurwada mandal, 116 acres is being pooled, of which39 acres is private land, 48 is assigned and 28 acres is government land.
