VISAKHAPATNAM: An eight-year-old boy died after falling into an uncovered septic tank at a building under construction at Appanna Colony under Gajuwaka Police Station limits on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as G. Arun Kumar, a Class III student of a private school. His father Prasad is a daily wage worker.
The police said that Arun Kumar went out to play on Friday evening and did not return.
After a thorough search, Kumar was found dead by his parents in the septic tank on Saturday.
Police registered a case and investigation was on.
