'Avagaahana Road Safety Awareness Trust', started by T. Srinivasa Rao, an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics in Andhra Medical College, in 2012, has come out with a WhatsApp group: ‘Avagaahana-Road Safety’. Dr. Srinivasa Rao appealed to the public to volunteer in the effort to make the awareness programmes fruitful. Those who wish to volunteer can SMS their names and number to the mobile no. 98498 33315. They can also contact the above number for more details. Dr. Srinivasa Rao said that his intention was not to collect funds but for the personal and active participation of the volunteers in the programmes.
