5 convicted of drink driving

The special metropolitan courts on Friday sentenced five persons for drink driving. Palla Srinu, resident of Chinna Waltair, was sentenced to three-day jail term, S. Ramana of Akkayyapalem, VSN Murthy of Sujatha Nagar and Y. Ramu of Railway New Colony were sentenced to two days of traffic duty. Nammi Gowri, lorry driver and resident of K. Kotapadu, was sentenced to 15 days of jail term.

According to the police, 15 days of jail term was the highest number of convictions days, given till now.
