4 held on charge of pilfering chemical

City Task Force (CTF) team raided an open yard of SKML Traders, Industrial Park, Parawada, and apprehended four persons for pilfering toluene (a liquid chemical used by pharmaceutical companies) from a chemical tanker.

The arrested were identified as S. Bullibabu (tanker driver), G. Nookaraju (cleaner), P. Siva and P. Varahala Babu (yard keepers).

The chemical was being transported from East India Petroleum Limited, Sheela Nagar, to JPR Labs Private Limited in Pharma city, Parawada.

The pilfered liquid chemical was worth about ₹ 7 lakh. The apprehended persons along with seized property have been handed over to the SHO, Parawada Police Station for further investigation.
