Three members of a family died on the spot and 12 others were injured when a jeep in which they were travelling rammed a tree, at a sharp turn on the ghat road in G. Madugula mandal in Visakhapatnam Agency area on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as G. Kesava Rao, G. Varahalamma and G. Chinnabbayi. As condition of three of the injured persons turned critical they were shifted to KGH in Visakhapatnam.
Incident occurred when the group was travelling from Gemilli village in G. Madugula mandal to Paderu.
According to G. Madugula Inspector Srinivasa Rao, the vehicle was in high speed and driver of the vehicle G. Kesava Rao lost control of the vehicle at a sharp bend on the ghat road and rammed a tree.
