Ch. Lakshmana Murthy and Ratnam R. of Visakhapatnam are the lucky winners of Zen Estilo cars in the bumper draw of Vaibhav Golden Child plan at a glittering function here on Sunday. Dame Luck smiled on the two in the draw from among 33,000 customers who paid Rs. 300 for 21 months.
The key for the car was handed over to Mr. Lakshmana Murthy by Vaibhav Group CMD Grandhi Manoj Kumar. “We have bought 10 tolas of gold but never won a prize but have been asked to continue in the scheme and this time it proved lucky,” ecstatic wife of Mr. Lakshmana Murthy said in a choked voice. The other winner Ratnam is a trader in Poorna Market. The winner was picked up by Chairman of Pydah Group of Institutions Pydah Krishna Prasad.
In the inaugural draw of Kohinoor purchase plan, V. Kasturi, K. Rama Devi and M. Padma won diamond jewellery worth Rs.1 lakh each. Monthly draws for four months from July with three members in each month winning diamond jewellery worth Rs.33,333 each. Lots for Sterling Silver Plan were also drawn.
It was announced that six more showrooms would be opened in the other cities of the State.
