2 Maoists surrender

A member of the Galikonda area committee of the CPI (Maoist) G. Chinnam Naidu alias Pittala Dora, who carried a reward of Rs.1 lakh on his head, and member of the Korukonda area committee V. Chando alias Shanti surrendered before Superintendent of Police Vikram Jeet Duggal at Narsipatnam on Thursday.

The two had quit the Maoist party after getting disillusioned with the party’s functioning and the hard life they had to face. They surrendered their weapons to the party and left it after taking its permission. OSD of Narsipatnam A.R. Damodhar was present.
