September 27, 2013 01:57 pm | Updated June 02, 2016 03:32 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

YSR Congress Seva Dal convenor M. Venkata Raju in a statement here on Thursday, said that Telugu Desam Party played a pivotal role in delaying the bail for YSRC president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

As per law he should have got the bail within 90 days, but due to the TDP’s intervention from time to time it got delayed over a year, he said. He alleged that the TDP had a tacit understanding with the Congress. The very abstaining from the voting on crucial FDI Bill in Parliament proved that the TDP lends its support to the UPA government.

The party’s Vijayawada Central in-charge launched a Samaikyandhra yatra in the 57th division of the city on Wednesday.
