YSR Congress chief interacts with turmeric farmers

YSR Congress president and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy interacted with turmeric farmers at Gudimeda village of Tadepalli mandal on the fourth day of Odarpu Yatra on Wednesday.

Responding to the woes of farmers, he said the government should take urgent steps to alleviate their plight in view of the serious impact of adverse weather and power cuts. A large number of YSR Congress activists and people came to see Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy, who reiterated that his family became the target of a false propaganda by the Congress and the TDP which were obviously bent on deriving political mileage from their actions.

He covered Pathuru, Ippatam, Vaddeswaram, Nutakki, Chirravuru, and some other villages in Tadepalli, Mangalagiri, Duggirala mandals.
