Will help Muslims inall ways, says Naidu

Community urged to reciprocate the gesture

The Iftar party hosted by MLA Sk. Jaleel Khan and attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday ended up as a political meeting with the former showering praise on the latter and assuring him of total support of Muslims in the next elections.

Mr. Naidu said that he was lucky to have the honour of attending Iftar. “Koran was brought from heaven to the earth. Fasting gives stability to the body and also discipline. he said.

“Ours is the only government to give Ramzan Tohfa to Muslims. This is the third time we are giving gift worth ₹515 each to 11.5 lakh families. We have allotted the highest budget for Muslims. We are paying the highest salaries to imams and muezzins. They should pray to Allah for the government which will, in turn, make the minorities happy,” he said.

4% quota

The Chief Minister said he strongly supported 4 % reservation to Muslims .

The CM announced ₹5 lakh help for Nazia Sultan, a cancer patient who approached him during the programme.
