Website launched

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched the official website (krishnapushkaram.ap.gov.in) for Krishna Pushkaralu in the presence of local MP Kesineni Srinivas, District Collector Babu A., Municipal Commissioner G. Veerapandian and others at his office here on Wednesday. The website provides all details relating to the facilities to be provided by the government for pilgrims along with information of ghats, Pushkar Nagars, availability of hotels, trains, buses and others.

Collector Babu said that information of duty officers, police personnel and others were also displayed in the site.

Also, locations of parking lots, details of cultural activities, availability of washrooms, drinking water, food, health camps, public address system, cloak rooms, information centres and others are on the website.

On Thursday, a mobile application ‘Krishnapushkaram2016’ will also be launched.

Through the Android app, people can lodge complaints as well as access all details of the event. The website is developed by the Information Technology Department of the State.
