Vijayawada Club extends its mite

The Vijayawada Club is extending its mite by providing breakfast, lunch, dinner, buttermilk and water to policemen and volunteers who were working round the clock in the service of pilgrims who were coming to the bathing ghats here to take the holy dip.

Deputy Superintendent of Police G. Ramanjeneulu inaugurated the camp on Monday. Club manager Nehru said that the club had provided three meals a day to over 400 officials and volunteers, most of them students.

The club president Sureddy Vishnu, Secretary Veeramachineni Rangaprasad and joint Secretary Kolli Srinivasa Rao participated in the programme.
