Bangladesh hackers defaced the website of Vijayawada Guntur Tenali Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (vgtmuda.gov.in). The defaced homepage of the website, however, was repaired immediately by the web masters.

The Bangladeshi hacker group, which identified itself as ‘Orion Hunter’, removed the content on the home page and posted a message in which they accused the Border Security Force (BSF) of killing a Bangladeshi girl. The hackers, however, did not say when the girl was allegedly killed by the BSF personnel.

A picture of the body of a woman wearing a red shirt hanging to the barbed wire fencing is posted on the homepage by the hackers. The message demands an immediate stop to hacking of Bangladesh websites, arrest of Bangladeshi hackers and border killings.

‘Orion Hunter’ managed to penetrate the firewalls of the servers hosting the websites and defaced the homepage of the main website and two more pages - ‘eauditing.vgtmuda.gov.in’ and ‘taxes.vgtmuda.gov.in’. While the main page and the eauditing page were hosted back the taxes page is still off the server.
