Velaga Venkatappaiah (82), member of Sahitya Academy Language Advisory Board for Telugu and one of doyens of library movement in Andhra Pradesh died at his home in Tenali in Guntur district on Monday. Along with Iyyanki Venkata Ramanayya, architect of the public library movement in India, he was instrumental in formulating a model Public Library Act.
