Vedic meet gets under way

The 67th Sri Krishna Mandala Veda Vidwat Pravardhaka Sabha began on a grand note at Sri Venkateswara Sri Chandramouleeswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam at Labbipet here on Tuesday. The three-day Vedic conclave began with Sri Maha Ganapathi puja and Sri Sankaracharya Vandanam.

The conclave will provide a platform for Vedic students to showcase their talent in the Vedas. The Vedic scholars would conduct examination to the students, who have been learning the Vedas from their childhood, according to Sabha president Maganti Subramanyam.
