Krishna University Vice-Chancellor V. Venkaiah on Wednesday appealed to budding technocrats to inculcate quest to explore new areas to achieve their goals. Prof. Venkaiah inaugurated a two-day technical symposium, Vidura-‘15, on the premises of the DMSSVH College of Engineering here.
The DMSSVH College of Engineering is conducting the annual symposium to enable students to showcase their talent in taking up projects before the experts. Addressing the students, the VC stressed on the need for improving their skills to achieve success in the chosen field.
“Time has come to follow value-based educational methods which will build charismatic character of the youth”, opined Prof. Venkaiah. Students from nearly sixty engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana registered for the symposium, where they displayed projects related to the field of electronics and communication engineering.
Presentations by the participants on adaptation of thermal imaginary technology in wildlife conservation, operations of Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAVs) were a few projects which throw light on new trends in the electronic engineering. Bharat Electronics Limited, Machilipatnam Unit General Manager T.N. Ramesh will interact with the students on Thursday during the valedictory programme of the symposium.
