Use education to serve society, students told

Y. V. Rao Siddhartha College of Education Principal Bhuvaneswara Lakshmi Gadde urged students to use education as a tool to serve society. She appealed to the teachers to strive towards developing positive attitude among the students.

Addressing the gathering at the concluding ceremony of the two-day Science, Maths & Social Studies Exhibition held at Delhi Public School here on Friday, she emphasised on the overall development of students and the role teachers need to play.

Dean S. B. Rao highlighted the importance of holding exhibitions in schools. He said science exhibitions help students develop scientific temper and inculcate the ability to analyse and reason. Later, prizes were distributed to the winners of the best exhibits, according to a press release.
