Muslims take out rally in Autonagar

The Muslim fraternity on Sunday took to the streets protesting against the alleged atrocities on Muslims in Myanmar and sought the intervention of the United Nations.

A large number of Muslims belonging to various organisations took out the rally near the Autonagar here expressing solidarity with the victims of Rohingya killings.

The rally began at the Autonagar Rekula Masjid centre and ended at the Autonagar bus stand.

Protesters raised slogans and displayed placards seeking immediate end to the killings in Myanmar.

Imarat-e-Shariah Haji Syed Akbar, Qazi Syed Abdur Raheem, muftis Syed Muhsin, Yusuf Ali and Farooq led the rally.
