A mother and her daughter were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Nidamanuru village here on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased and injured were coming from Kovvur in West Godavar district in an auto to offer prayers at Sri Kanakadurga Temple. The auto which tried to take a turn near Nidamanuru hit an RTC bus coming in the opposite direction.
The two women died on the spot while the injured were shifted to government general hospital here, police added.
