South Central Railway will run two special trains between Hyderabad and Kakinada town, in order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer holiday season.
A press release from the SCR said train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada town special train would leave Hyderabad at 10.50 p.m. on Friday (May 31) and reach Kakinada town at 9.25 a.m. the next day. It will arrive at Vijayawada at 5 a.m. and leave at 5.20 a.m.
In the return direction, train No. 07102 Kakinada town-Hyderabad Special train will leave Kakinada town at 7.15 p.m. on Saturday (June 1) and reach Hyderabad at 5.50 a.m. the next day. The train will arrive at Vijayawada at 11 p.m. and leave at 11.20 p.m.
En route, the special trains will halt at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both the directions.
The SCR also stated that train No.17210/17209 Kakinada town-Bangalore-Kakinada town Seshadri Express would be augmented with one air-conditioned 3-tier coach on a temporary basis for a period of about 15 days with effect from June 1. With this the train will have three AC 3-tier coaches, totalling 19 coaches.
