Tributes paid to Uri martyrs

Journalists, photographers and cameramen of various print and electronic media and the police officials on Wednesday paid tributes to the military personnel who died in terrorist attack at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Condemning the brutal attack in which 18 jawans were killed and 14 others suffered injuries, the media persons and the police observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to them.

Print and electronic media personnel were complimented by Police Commissioner D. Gautam Sawang for working for the success of the Krishna Pushkarams.

Later, the Police Commissioner along with Das and other police personnel distributed appreciation certificates and mementos to the scribes and the photo journalists of various organisations.
