Tributes paid to Lagadapati Rama Naidu

Tributes were paid to Lagadapati Venkata Rama Naidu, father of Member of Parliament from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal at their residence in Seethanagar here on Monday.

Naidu passed away in Hyderabad on Sunday night and his body was brought to their home here on Monday morning.

Congress leaders including Agriculture Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana, MP K.V.P Ramachandra Rao, former minister Md. Ali Shabbir, former MLC Rayapati Srinivas, and chairman of the VGTM UDA Vanukuri Srinivasa Reddy visited their home and offered their condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

Former MP V. Balashourie and industrialist Chukkapalli Ramesh also visited the house.

A native of Udayagiri in Nellore district, Rama Naidu migrated to Guntur where he set up a transport business in the town.
