As part of the initiative, SMS alerts will be sent to vehicle owners within two days of furnishing details at the linkage centres. Towards expediting the linkage process, special teams will be formed, one each in Nandigama, Gudivada, Machilipatnam and Nuzvid. Of the total number of vehicle details updated for Aadhaar linkage, 50 per cent are from Krishna,” said Deputy Transport Commissioner S. Venkateswara Rao.
