May 23, 2016 12:00 am | Updated September 12, 2016 08:07 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

The Tax Payers Association (TPA) in an open letter has asked the corporators to make public the objectives of their recent tour and areas of study.

Releasing copies of the letter here on Sunday, TPA president V. Sambi Reddy and secretary M.V. Anjaneyulu said it was duty of the 35 corporators who went to the tour to disclose the details of their study. They wanted to know the economics and models of water supply in corporations such as Delhi. Pointing out that 7.44 crore kilo litre of water was being supplied free of cost in Delhi, they asked whether it was possible to implement such a policy in the city.

The association wanted to know what were the steps taken by those corporations in keeping the water tariff at lowest possible.

Eighty per cent of the schools in Delhi have playgrounds, while many schools in the city don’t have.
