TDP district president and Chilakaluripet MLA Prathipati Pulla Rao called upon the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) to strive for the success of TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu’s `Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra coming up soon.
Addressing TNSF members who met him under the leadership of the student wing’s newly-appointed State vice-president Mannava Vamsi Krishna on Wednesday, Mr. Pulla Rao said the former chief minister was reaching out to people and it is only the TDP that is capable of delivering good governance.
Mr. Pulla Rao said the student community was aware of the Congress government’s backing out of its promise to fill all vacant posts in various departments within six months of coming to power and its indifferent attitude to the welfare of the youth.
Three Chief Ministers have since changed but the plight of students remained the same. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has become a fountainhead of corruption., the MLA said.
Private industries and software sector were facing problems due to the government’s irrational policies, he said.
TNSF leaders U. Rama Rao, M. Venkatesh, P. Suresh, M. Ratthaiah, A. Dhana Sekhar and others were present.
