Tirumala temple replica at PWD Grounds

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will construct a replica of the Tirumala temple at the PWD Grounds here. The TTD will spend Rs. 1.85 crore for the civil works and Rs. 78 lakh for the electrical works, according to TTD Joint Executive Officer Srinivasa Raju.

At a press conference here on Sunday, Mr. Raju said four queue lines would be created at the replica temple for the convenience of devotees. Temporary residences would also be constructed for archakas and other staff working at the replica temple.

The works would be completed in 40 days starting from Sunday.

Divya darshan would be provided duly following advice from agama pundits, he said, adding as many as 800 employees would take part in the works. Meanwhile, Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao inspected the ongoing works at the PWD Grounds. He said that the replica temple was being constructed for ensuing Krishna pushkarams, he said.
