Three persons electrocuted

Two persons including a four-year-old boy were electrocuted at Bapulapadu in the district on Wednesday. The boy S. Akhil was playing near his house at SC Colony when a high tension wire snapped and fell on him after a tree branch brought it down. Akhil’s mother Devamatha and aunt Rajya Lakshmi (30) who went his rescue also sustained burns. Rajya Lakshmi succumbed while Devamatha was being treated for severe burns in a local hospital. In another incident an electrician Vasudeva Reddy (38) was electrocuted while repairing a faulty electric wire in his house at Ramarajupalle in Kadapa.
