An auto driver, Shaik Hussain, and his family, who were staying on Swargapudi Road, Bramaramba Puram, in Krishnalanka area, are reported missing for the last two days.

According to the family members, Hussain took his wife, Shabana and son Shaheen, to his sister’s house located at One Town on June 28. But, the family did not return home.

The auto driver reportedly told his family members about his financial problems, particularly about the loans he borrowed, and said that he was vexed with life. At around 4 p.m. they returned from One Town.

Hussain switched off his mobile phone later. After searching for two days, his sister Reshma lodged a complaint with Krishnalanka police on Friday. Efforts are on to trace the missing family, the police said.
