This traffic constable always signals free left

This constable will always indicate ‘free left turn’ at the busy Benz Circle. He never tires and gets down from the traffic island.

The cut-out of a traffic constable erected at Benz Circle to create awareness among people was very much interesting and attracting the passers-by. The constable shows free left signal to the vehicular traffic coming from Bandar Road towards Eluru Road.

“If left turn is free, there would be no jams and traffic flow will be smooth at the signals. Though barricades have been arranged showing free left, some bike riders and drivers will stop at left side interrupting traffic. The cut-out will help to clear traffic at left turn,” said a constable.

According to the police, about 75,000 vehicles pass Benz Circle every day and the island is the largest traffic junction in the city. Police arranged a police outpost round-the-clock to monitor vehicular traffic at Benz Circle.

A garment showroom management arranged the cut-out of the traffic constable wearing a mask and flashing left free signal towards Ring Road (Eluru Road), which almost resembles like a constable standing at the point.
