The stage is set for the 15th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz Competition at Siddhartha Auditorium on December 9. The contest will be off to a grand start at 2 p.m.
It is a part of the nationwide event being conducted in the juniors’ category for children studying 6th to 8th classes in 14 cities including Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
Britannia Milk Bikis is the main sponsor while Firefox is the associate sponsor. Reynolds and Success Notebooks are the gift sponsors. Andhra Bank is the local sponsor.
The participants will be divided in groups of two and the quiz will be organised in two segments; a common written preliminary round and an on-stage final round for the top six teams, based on the marks scored in the prelims.
Spot registrations will be allowed. Children will not be allowed to carry any books or electronic gadgets in the hall. Children from 13 districts of the State are taking part in the exciting event.
