Vijayawada was soaked in divine bliss as the presiding deities of Sri Durga Malleswara Swami Varla Devasthanam shrine were taken on a celestial cruise in Krishna waters in the flower decked Hamsa Vahanam as part of the Teppotsavam here on Sunday.

The event brought the curtains down on the 10-day Dasara festival, symbolising the triumph of good over evil.

A sea of humanity witnessed a colourful Teppotsavam on the banks of river Krishna, Durga Ghat, and on Prakasam Barrage for the occasion.
