The State Government will pay revised wages to its employees not later than October-November, Andhra Pradesh NGOs Joint Action Committee chairman A.V.Sagar, said.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Mr Sagar said that the Tenth Pay Revision Commission would prepare its report and submit it to the State Government not later then September-October and the government would require another couple of months to implement it.
The proposal to provide health cards was also ready to be implemented. There was a minor difference between the government and the association. That would soon be resolved, Mr Sagar said.
Asked about the shifting of Municipal Corporation employees from account head 10 to 101 for payment of salary Mr Sagar said that only employees of Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam Corporations had signed an MoU. But if the government does not come out with a proper solution to the problem the NGOs would be forced to launch an agitation.
Asked if the APNGOs were working with the TNGOs (Telangana) Mr Sagar said the two associations had a common platform, the JAC, but about two years ago they decided to constitute their own JAC. But even now the AP JAC and T JAC worked in coordination for the benefit of employees.
