Leaders of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress (YSRC) have criticised the ruling Congress and the Telugu Desam Party for trying to suppress party president and Member of Parliament Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
The party activists, led by YSRC Central segment in-charge P. Gowtham Reddy, took out a rally in the city on Tuesday demanding release of Mr. Reddy who was in remand on corruption charges.
While TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu is doing ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ padayatra, his party MLAs and leaders are in queue to join the YSRC. Even his party leaders were not believing Mr. Naidu’s words, said Mr. Gowtham Reddy.
The ‘Indiramma Bata’, launched by the Congress was a flop show, he said and added that response for the ‘padayatra’ undertaken by YSRC leader Sharmila was good.
Party leader Ramalinga Murthy, Srinivasa Rao, Sunitha, and others were present.
