For 14 year-old U. Gangadhar, reciting Bhagavad Gita has become a part of the routine.

Gangadhar is at ease in pronouncing the verses of Gita. There are about 700 slokas and 18 chapters in Gita and ask him about any sloka from any chapter, pat he replies and recollects the sloka.

What more, he even explains the meaning of the sloka.

Interestingly, he has not undergone any special training and the person behind all this success is his mother U. Bala Tripura Sundari.

“He has been reciting the Gita from the time he was five years old. At home, we read Gita everyday and I noticed that he could read and recollect the slokas with ease. I was surprised and that’s when I thought of training him to read and recollect all the slokas,” says Ms. Sundari.

A resident of Satyanarayanapuram in the city, Gangadhar is studying tenth standard at Vignan Vihar High School and his mother claims he is good in academics as well.
