The Telugu Desam Party has asserted that it will not ally with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or National Democratic Alliance . The party also underscored the need for keeping communal parties at bay to protect the secular fabric of the country.
“People fear leaders like Narendra Modi. The nation will not progress unless the communal forces were shown their place,” said TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu. He was attending an ‘Iftar’ for Muslims organised by the party’s district unit here on Tuesday. At the Iftar, Mr. Naidu said India was known for communal harmony. But, some communal forces were attempting to hamper it, and people should oppose it tooth and nail.
Irony that Naidu is making this statement. He was with BJP for six years and was most benefited NDA government. Now he is pretending and any way he is not required for BJP
Dear Mr Naidu , Please note in politics there are no permanent friends or enemies. You lost elections since 7 years and you are only a leader of a small TDP party . People loved you when you brought reforms in AP changed the political map of AP. But now you are fuming on BJP> what is wrong with them ? Do you not know that Maywati , Mamta, Mulayam fought elections opposing and slamming each other in UP and now they are again supporting the congress party and she is elected to Parliament.
You have to be in power if you want to do good to people. By slamming BJP you are alienating yourself from the main group. BJP is ruling in 6-7 states. Join BJP, throw this congress party which is corrupt to the root. Your fortunes are with alliances only. Alone you cannot fight. Many MLAs from your party are joining others . why ? they know that you are not going to be in power.
One good step for TDP. Am sure it will bring the much needed air now... Yes, Modi has spoiled a well balanced community and tethered the growth of the country... Naidu do understand what it means to work with all communities together... wishing him all the luck he needs... come back.
Good thought by Mr. Naidu we need a chief minister like you in Andhra Pradesh you will be the best to continue the policy of YSR (for poor and minority)and your owne way of development with your strong implementation. You can form third front in centre chuck out congress and BJP. My well wishes with you please don’t forget poor,minority,back word class and development you can be a success prime minister of India. Then whole world will say India shining .
Mr Naidu can keep making all these statements.He has been made irrelevant in AP. His only job now seems to be attending functions and parties
True, the country is afraid of Narendra Modi and Gujarat for the rapid
progress shown in the Gujarat state. Soon, Gujarat will achieve a higher
standard of living comparable to the Developed countries. The
politicians are worried they cannot swindle the people and fill up their
pockets, if poor people become aware of Gujarat progress.
Even BJP is not intrested in allying with TDP. TDP is sinking boat and many prominent leaders have deserted the party.
What a joke! After enjoying power under BJP rule now sing a new tune at Iftaar party. Who is communal, TDP is communal. BJP rule is the only hope. Modi is better than Naidu.
