TCS plans job drive at Siddhartha College

Representatives of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) visited the PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science campus at Moghalrajapuram here on Thursday and interacted with students of B.Sc courses with specialisations in mathematics, physics, chemistry, electronics, and computer science.

They also conducted a workshop on basic skills that the students should focus on during their college days so that they would be able to do well in their career.

College principal Rajagopal V said the company representatives provided insights into the latest developments in the industry and the need for students to develop the right kind of attitude and aptitude for getting good opportunities. Mr. Rajagopal said that the TCS representatives discussed about the future recruitment drive they were planning for the B.Sc students of all groups. The drive would be launched soon and the initial tests would be conducted online.

Mr. Rajagopal informed that their college BBM final year student P. Vikas got the first prize in the state-level elocution competition conducted by the JKC College in Guntur recently. Over 100 participants from different parts of the State participated in the competition.
